Number of years on the governing body (2 years). I joined in Sept 2018
Reasons why I became a governor was a combination of :-
a. having been a volunteer classroom assistant for 10 years and
b. invited to do so by Miss Hemmings
My school interests…..starting with background in teaching (History as specialist subject and in the secondary sector)
a. raising literacy levels
b. general support and adding value to children’s’ attainments
A final word…..hope to contribute to the work of the school in the widest sense
