Number of years on the governing body…….I have been a governor for more than 20 years, and first came onto the governing body as a local authority representative. I am currently Chair of Governors.
Reasons why I became a governor…….. The reason I became a governor was to ensure that the children in the area I represented as a councillor were given the chance of the best possible educational start in life, this is the reason I am still a member.
My school interests…… My main aim within the school is to ensure that the children from less advantaged backgrounds, do as well, and have the same opportunities for advancement and growth as the rest of the pupils.
