I have been on the governing body since January 2020.
Reasons why I became a governor – I have a well established background and continued keen interest in primary education. In my previous employment until November 2019 with Durham LA, I had a professional working relationship with Miss Hemmings and senior leaders.
My school interests – I am interested in all aspects of primary education to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to reach their full potential. I have a particular interest in Early Years, SEND and developing reading skills.
A final word – I hope to support the school in any way I can and contribute to on-going developments.
